Blogger Browser Matrix

Blogger's awesome wysiwyg editing features are fully supported in the latest versions of the most popular web browsers: Internet Explorer 6 and 7 on Windows, and Mozilla Firefox. Safari support is coming, eventually.
Blogger's Preview mode and HTML formatting buttons work in some older browsers, but not in others. This table shows what works where. Please upgrade your browser if you want to use Blogger's latest and greatest features!

  • Preview: whether or not Blogger's Preview mode is supported

Usage Breakdown:
  • 69% of our users use IE6/Windows; clearly the majority yet a lower percentage than the web in general.
  • 24% use Mozilla Firefox; an up-and-comer, which we all use internally.
  • 4% use Safari; also widely used internally.
AOL users, as well as those unaccounted for here (e.g. Netscape, etc.), would be wise to use Mozilla Firefox in order to have the best possible experience using Blogger.
